The Municipality of Montreux is advertising a position for: Main tasks: - Coordinate the implementation of the municipal sustainability strategy and the climate plan - Identify development potentials in municipal action in favour of sustainability and propose an approach to address them - Coordinate the sustainability office and the Sustainability Working Group to ensure the cross-functionality of actions across different departments - Provide support to departments and assist them in project implementation - Assist and advise the Municipality on any matters related to climate change and sustainable development - Draft administrative documents (notices, municipal proposals, etc.), popular science and scientific documents for dissemination and publication Desired profile: - Holder of a university master’s degree, polytechnic or HES, or training deemed equivalent in the field of sustainability, climate and/or environment - Proven experience of 7-10 years in strategic roles, cross-functional coordination and project management, ideally both in a public authority and in the private sector - Demonstrated expertise in sustainability and experience in participatory approaches - Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, ecosystemic vision and pragmatism enabling agile transition from strategy to operational level. - Excellent communication skills, ease in simplifying complex matters and adapting discourse to all audiences - Enthusiasm, eloquence and positive energy enabling engagement and unification of all stakeholders Workplace: Chailly-Montreux Start date: immediately or date to be agreed For further information, please contact Ms C.
