As their international portfolio continues to grow, they're looking for a Project Manager – Climate Protection Projects to join their Berlin-based team. You’ll combine engineering, international project management, and stakeholder engagement while collaborating with experts who are passionate about accelerating the energy transition.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Lead the design, planning, and implementation of international climate protection projects.
• Drive construction activities and technical delivery while managing budgets, schedules, and project objectives.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with international project partners.
• Ensure projects meet recognised carbon certification standards such as Gold Standard, CDM, or equivalent frameworks.
• Travel internationally (typically 1–2 trips per year) to support implementation, build local partnerships, and monitor project progress.
• Act as the key contact for major clients linked to your projects.
• Support customer tenders and collaborate closely with commercial teams.
• Prepare technical presentations and engage directly with customers and stakeholders.

You’ll take ownership of technically complex projects from concept through to implementation, working on initiatives that directly contribute to global decarbonisation.
The Role
As Project Manager, you’ll lead the technical design, planning, and delivery of climate protection projects, taking responsibility for driving implementation rather than simply overseeing contractors.
Projects may include renewable energy deployment, rural electrification programmes, carbon reduction initiatives, and emerging technologies such as Direct Air Capture (DAC).
Ideally you’ll have a combination of
• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong Project Management experience with a practical, technical focus.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with strong ownership and problem‑solving skills.
