Sustainability Consultant - Energy Focus (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Sustainability Consultant with a strong focus on energy solutions, to join their advisory team on a fully remote basis. You will guide businesses in developing and implementing sustainable energy strategies, helping them reduce their environmental footprint and enhance operational efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of environmental regulations, energy efficiency measures, and corporate social responsibility. You will work with a diverse range of clients, advising them on best practices and innovative approaches to sustainability, contributing to significant environmental improvements, and fostering a culture of responsible energy consumption. The ideal candidate is a self-starter passionate about driving sustainable change.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored sustainability strategies for clients, with a primary focus on energy consumption and renewable energy adoption.
• Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
• Advise clients on compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability reporting standards (e.g., ESG).
• Research and recommend sustainable energy technologies, procurement options, and operational changes.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and action plans for client engagement and project outcomes.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, policies, and best practices in corporate sustainability and energy management .

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability consulting, environmental management, or energy efficiency .
• Proven track record in advising organizations on energy management and sustainability initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of renewable energy sources , carbon footprinting, and ESG frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple client projects concurrently in a remote setting .
