Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Sustainability, they will support the development and implementation of company-wide sustainability strategy, policy, programs, training and reporting with an emphasis on maintaining a Sustainability Reporting Control Framework and drafting Company Sustainability disclosures for regulators, investors, and other sustainability rating agencies/organizations.
The disclosures of non-financial data are very similar to the reporting of financial data and requires a high level of experience working with and part of an internal control environment and developing disclosures to meet regulatory and other requirements.
Job Description Key Roles & Responsibilities Collaborate with internal departments to mature the systems of controls over sustainability reporting. Collaborate with internal departments to evaluate, collect, prepare, and review disclosures that meet the requirements for both regulatory and other disclosure frameworks as requested.
Utilizing the Company’s ESG software (Auditboard), track and monitor ESG metrics confirming control performance. Identify new metrics that need to be created and evaluate the effectiveness of the data collection process with a focus on continuous improvement. Link ESG Topics to metrics and reporting frameworks in the system.
