What You'll Do As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage on the Client Focus path, you will work in a growing global team, delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized BCG Vantage assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain‑specific data and related expertise).

You will: Contribute relevant analysis and insights to cases and proposals, and help case teams create strong impact for the client. Work primarily with the German market, with support for regional and global client teams as needed. Communicating with case teams and client team members in a credible and confident manner. Full‑time on‑site position.

Support commercialisation efforts for the topic/sector, including analysis and insights for proposals, client workshops and marketing materials. Assist in developing intellectual property and assets for the business. Onboard and train junior colleagues in your topic/sector expertise.

Occasionally travel to serve clients on site during staffing assignments to understand client requirements and design/develop solutions. The focus may include topics related to the energy transition, energy infrastructure, electrification, decarbonisation, energy and climate policy, and industrial policy.

You're Good At Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches in energy and climate sectors and related technologies. Collaborating effectively in group dynamics, often virtual, and being proficient in agile ways of working. Being flexible, curious, creative, and proposing innovative ideas.

Navigating complexity and ambiguity. What You'll Bring 2+ years of consulting experience in energy and climate (required); strongly preferred. If no consulting experience, a minimum of 3+ years of industry experience is required; 4‑6+ years strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred). Fluency in German and English.

Strong business acumen and problem‑solving capabilities. AI‑native, day‑to‑day work with Claude, ChatGPT expected. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
