Specialist Supplier Sustainability (m/f/d) Pierburg GmbH in Neuss Ref.-Nr.: DE11385 Schedule type: Full Time Contract Type: Permanent Position What we are looking for • Design, coordination and implementation of the sustainable purchasing & sourcing strategy in accordance with current ESG requirements (CS3D, CSRD, CBAM, conflict minerals etc.) • Establish and further develop ESG competence in the global purchasing organization • Implement sustainability initiatives in our supplier network • Participate in the implementation of a supplier platform to comply with German and European supply chain due diligence laws • Represent the division Power Systems in our ESG cross-divisional team • Ensure the continuous improvement of the supplier performance level with regard to sustainability criteria • Process ESG aspects in the supply chain in coordination with the Head of ESG supply chain and corporate social responsibility departments • Take part in internal stakeholder dialogues on sustainability topics in the supply chain • Conception of and implement ESG training initiatives for suppliers What you should bring with you • Successfully completed studies in the field of economics or engineering, ideally with a focus on sustainability management or comparable • Preferably training in CSR, CR or sustainability management • Knowledge of relevant ESG frameworks (laws, concepts, standards, guidelines & norms) • Several years of professional experience in operational and strategic purchasing – ideally in an automotive environment • Confident handling of MS Office and SAP • Basic understanding of management systems and project management • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English • Confident handling of social, cultural and ethical issues in a business context • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in an international environment • Good negotiation skills and strong assertiveness • High level of commitment, initiative and resilience What we can offer you At our location in Neuss we offer you. • Attractive remuneration • Flexible working time models • Fitness and health offers • Corporate benefits platform • Individual and diverse external and internal development opportunities, including at the Rheinmetall Academy • Professional induction process supported by a digital onboarding tool Your strengths and experience count at Rheinmetall.
