The Group ESG Manager is responsible for providing specialist and advisory services at a group level to the various project sites to ensure compliance with applicable environmental and ESG related legislation, regulations, and standards to achieve best practices.
Responsibilities include input into environmental plans and management; provision of practical advice and guidance related to continuous environmental improvement, compliance auditing, reporting and monitoring.
The role incumbent will integrate their work with the project sites to ensure holistic achievement of goals as well as to support the implementation/maintenance of appropriate systems to optimise performance within the Environmental management function.
The Group ESG Manager will be required to provide input into the establishment, implementation and management of ESG governance practices in alignment with industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the group ESG strategy in line with business objectives and sustainability goals.
Provide specialist guidance to project sites on environmental and ESG compliance requirements. Ensure compliance with applicable environmental legislation, regulations, permits, and standards. Support the development, implementation, and review of environmental management plans and ESG framework
